INDONESIAN INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION AT ANANTARA VACATION CLUB SEMINYAK BALI

Anantara Vacation Club Seminyak Bali will celebrate Indonesian Independence Day through several events at the resort, including a cracker-eating competition and a flag ceremony (Upacara Bendera) at the car park area. For this one-day event, a letter will be sent to guests’ villa two days in advance. In addition, a special Yellow Rice (Nasi Kuning) dish will be offered to mark the Indonesian national holiday. This menu item is a traditional rice dish that is usually served during special occasions as, according to the locals, it symbolises good fortune and wealth. This flavourful rice dish’s main ingredient is turmeric and is commonly served in a cone-shaped container. It also comes with prawn crackers, fried chicken, fried noodles, and sweet fried tempe. This special Independence Day dish will be available on 17 August 2016 at Serai restaurant from 12.00 pm – 9.00 pm, and will be offered at IDR 85,000++ per person.
