Celebration of Lebaran at Anantara Vacation Club Seminyak Bali

‘Lebaran’ is one of Indonesia’s biggest holidays because it marks the celebration of the end of Ramadan, more commonly known as the fasting ritual of Muslims. This two-day holiday is celebrated via a feast with a variety of food and includes traditional sweets. Anantara Vacation Club Seminyak Bali celebrates this nationwide holiday from 6 – 7 July 2016 by holding a ketupat-making activity at the resort. Ketupat is a rice dumpling wrapped in a palm leaf pouch, and is especially popular in Indonesia, Malaysia and the Philippines. During the Lebaran celebration at Anantara Vacation Club Seminyak Bali, guests can try their hand at making their own ketupat. Meanwhile, a special menu at Serai restaurant will include a popular Javanese dish called Lontong Opor Ayam or rice cake with chicken curry, offered with a 10% discount, from 12.00 – 10.00 pm. For reservations, contact the resort Front Desk.
