Planning to skip your usual haunts and sample a new holiday destination this year? I’d like to recommend adding scenic Sri Lanka and the idyllic island of Mahé in the Seychelles to the top of your travel bucket list! Many of our Club Points Owners opt to head to the Maldives for their beach vacations, and while they’re certainly a fantastic choice in their own right, there are lesser known gems to be discovered that offer just as much opportunity for fun sand, sun and sea adventures.

Sri Lanka’s travel star has been rising quickly as of late due to the beauty of its quiet, untouched beaches. The country has yet to be overrun by tourists and evokes a blissed-out, laidback vibe complimented by its British colonial heritage and some of the best food in Asia. It has recently emerged as one of the most popular surfing destinations in the world and offers a wide range of cultural activities to keep visitors of all ages entertained for weeks on end. Hiking, cave exploration, meticulously adorned temples and expansive nature reserves? You’ll find it all there.

Meanwhile, an archipelago of 115 small islands known as the Seychelles lies 3,000 km across the Indian Ocean, off the eastern coast of Africa. Its largest island, Mahé, is home to some of the most pristine beaches in the world. If you’re after a holiday spent lounging by turquoise waters on soft white sands – you’ll find it there. But one of the many reasons we love the Seychelles so much is thanks to all that it has to offer beyond its inspiring natural beauty. Take a walk through a Unesco World Heritage site forest, hike up the nearby Copolia trail, admire the local Creole-style architecture, visit a coconut plantation or hop on a boat for a day of exploring nearby islands. You’ll enjoy limitless possibilities for adventure in the Seychelles.

Ready to try something new? Be one of the first to discover these slices of island paradise before everybody else catches on! Our Club Services team is waiting to hear from you.
