Q: What was the most memorable moment to you?
To experience cleaning rooms. It looks like an easy thing to do but when you’re doing it, it is actually very challenging. I was sweating from making the bed.
Q: Which other Anantara Vacation Club destination would you like to experience next?
Anantara Sir Bani Yas Island Resorts because I can ride camels there.

His Parent’s Story
Q: In which Anantara Vacation Club destinations have you been to so far?
A: We have stayed at Anantara Vacation Club Mai Khao Phuket, Seminyak Bali and Bophut Koh Samui. We’ve also been to some Club Escapes destinations: Anantara Uluwatu Bali Resort, Anantara Golden Triangle Elephant Camp & Resort and Oaks on Market Melbourne among others.

Q: What do you like the most about being an Anantara Vacation Club Owner?
A: All of Anantara Vacation Club’s destinations are located in exotic holiday destinations and we can always follow Anantara’s lead to experience the place, people and culture of each destination. Of course, the comfortable accommodation is of high quality, there are delicious food and beverage options, and we can take the time to feel relaxed and happy!
Q: What was the best moment during this holiday?
A: Koh Samui has always been on our vacation destination checklist and we finally made it there during this year’s Chinese New Year holiday. Our most memorable memory from the stay is when Nemo wore the staff uniform and we watched his dream come true, following Tony to see each of the resort’s departments.. |

When he got back he described every department’s role and responsibilities to us. Hearing from him about “HR”, “Accounting”, “Kitchen”, etc. also made us very excited because this is an experience that he’ll remember forever and is a mark that we’ve helped him learn and grow
Q: What inspired Nemo to be interested in the hotel industry?
He is a very intelligent and bright boy; we see a great future ahead of him.
A: A few years ago we stayed in Anantara Vacation Club Mai Khao Phuket which inspired Nemo’s interest in Hotel Management. That time we had a longer holiday than normal and Nemo was especially enjoying the great food and pool every day. He asked us, “If I work here does it mean I can experience all the Anantara hotels?”, that’s when we wrote to Mr. Lyndon Ellis, the General Manager, hoping his wish can come true.
The day we left the resort we were a bit sad, especially for Nemo – he was very sad to leave. Hopefully Nemo will follow his dreams of working in Hotel Management and make it happen.

A: Next destination is Anantara Sir Bani Yas Island Resorts.
