Savour a Feast of Balinese Cuisine at Anantara Vacation Club Seminyak Bali on Galungan & Kuningan Day

Anantara Vacation Club Seminyak Bali will celebrate Galungan Day, which falls on 7 September 2016, with a special feast of traditional Balinese dishes. Meanwhile, Kuningan Day will be observed on September 17 and will mark the end of the 10-day Indonesian religious festival.

The victory of dharma (goodness) over adharma (evil) will be observed at our Bali resort with a special Galungan & Kuningan Day menu. Guests can choose from a variety of delectable Indonesian cuisine, including Fish Sambal Matah (snapper with long beans, shallots, lemongrass and chili), Sayur Urab Lan Sate Lilit (vegetables with Balinese-style spices), Gedang Mekuah (young papaya soup with Balinese-style yellow paste), Be Celeng Menyat-nyat (braised pork), Pesan Be Pasih (grilled fish wrapped in banana leaf), Tum Be Siap (banana leaf-wrapped chicken with Balinese spices), and Urutan Bali (Balinese pork sausage). All dishes will be served in a Balinese rijsttafel and come with steamed rice, shrimp crackers and sambal, while desserts include Bubur Injin (Indonesian black rice pudding) and Buah Segar (sliced tropical fruits).
