Experiencing Africa’s wildlife on a luxury Sky Safari
I joined Anantara Vacation Club in 2012. Considering the limited time of my annual holiday, I chose the Elite Diamond Ownership, but I am always interested in the activities offered by the Elite Platinum Ownership class and above - especially the safaris in Africa! Last year when I spent my holiday in Phuket, I finally made up my mind to upgrade my Ownership. This September, I participated in a safari in Tanzania. We chose the 7-day Sky Safari and spent the remaining 4 days at Kilindi Zanzibar. This was an unexpected experience and also an unforgettable holiday for all of us, not to mention fantastic value for our money.
Upgrading my membership was definitely a wise choice!

Itinerary
The activity was fully organized by Elewana, Anantara’s partner in Africa. From the moment we arrived until the time we left, everything was covered. From private air transport and private Safari transport to accommodation and catering, they have offered us everything we could imagine.

- ● Day 4 & Day 5: The Manor at Ngorongoro
- ● Day 6 & Day 7: Serengeti Migration Camp

Benefits
- ✔ In Arusha, Elewana arranged some educational activities for us, including learning the history of coffee as well as the whole process of planting, processing and roasting it. We left having gained a new understanding of the beverage.
- ✔ We saw many birds and animals on the East African savannah, including the great migration of wildebeest in the Serengeti.
- ✔ We enjoyed 24-hour butler service at our Treetops, Manor and Migration Camp accommodation sites.
- ✔ We visited a village of the Maasai people
- ✔ We really enjoyed the private aircraft (only for my wife and me!).
Further details
- 1. The accommodations we stayed at were all luxury or signature hotels. The prices, introductions and pictures of these hotels can be found on Booking.com or TripAdvisor.com. Treetops, in particular, has already been fully booked for the following year.
- 2. The Elewana staff and members at various locations are all very professional and warm-hearted, especially the 24-hour butlers. The chefs at various accommodations are all highly-skilled. The dishes offered were delicate and delicious. I gained some weight during the holiday!
- 3. The tour guides we had were all highly experienced and have a keen eye. They are able to guide us to find various animals within short periods of time.
- 4. During the holiday, it happened to be my wife’s birthday. Kilindi Hotel specially prepared a beautiful birthday cake for her, which was a big surprise for us!
