Things to Do in Bophut

Water lovers can go jet skiing, parasailing, wake boarding or sea kayaking. If you want to see the beautiful underwater world off Koh Samui’s coast, sign up for a snorkelling trip or a deep sea diving class. Additionally, those who want to go all out can charter a yacht, speedboat or even a fishing boat for the day to soak of the region’s tropical splendours.

If you’re looking to relax on Bophut, lounge on the nearby beaches while sipping tropical cocktails from the nearest waterfront resort – there is even an aqua park on the beach to keep the kids entertained. Every Friday, Bophut puts on a spectacular walking street market in which hundreds of street vendors set up their tents and sell delicious snacks and interesting trinkets. Forget the loud beach bars, clubs and restaurants of Chaweng Beach, this is the place to be. As the sun sets, entertainers emerge and put on shows featuring dancing, juggling and fire throwing.

Other Island Destinations
Along with Bophut, Koh Samui has plenty of other towns and beaches offering up a variety of different scenes. On the other end of the spectrum are Bang Por and Choeng Mon, which feature pristine beaches and Thai shops with few tourists.
