I also learned how to hold and use the knife the western cooking way, which is totally opposite from the Japanese way I had learned. Many things are different but they all make sense in their own culture and cuisine.
So I would say this cooking class teaches you more than Thai cooking! Next time, I’d like to take the chef’s western cooking class, especially pizza dough-making. The pizza at Chaam was amazing! I have to know the secret of that, too!
I would certainly recommend all of you to take this cooking class! My husband also enjoyed watching the cooking class, and of course he loved the tasting activity afterwards. I’m sure my husband, at first, felt that “cooking class = women’s stuff”, but after this experience, he still talks about how impressive the cooking class was!
The staff was very friendly, especially in the Kids Club. Our children loved staying there which helped us parents have a relaxing time!
